Orders from this site are governed by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE as set forth below. Purchases of goods and/or services from Rippa Stickers via this web site, indicate that you understand and accept these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms, you may not order from this web site. Rippa Stickers reserves the right to make changes to this web site and these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.
Rippa Stickers (ABN 95 118 240 789) is the service provider; it is also referred to as “Rippa Stickers”, "us" and "we". Customer is the person or organisation who purchases or seeks services or components from Rippa Stickers; it is also referred to as "you".
This TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE is subject to change without notice prior to you placing an order. Once the order has been placed, any changes to this agreement will not affect that order, but will affect all future orders placed by you.
Security and Privacy
Rippa Stickers follows the industry standard, Secure Sockets Layer protocol, "SSL," for the transfer of sensitive data over the internet. When entering your credit card number online, a "key-lock" icon will appear in your browser window. This icon is your confirmation that SSL has been activated for the transfer of your personal information. A second indication of SSL activation is that the displayed URL will begin with "https". We do not hold or store credit card information.
Pricing and Product Information
Rippa Stickers makes every effort to provide current and accurate information relating to products and services displayed on our web site, but does not guarantee the currency or accuracy of any such information. Information relating to our products and services are subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to change at any time prior to our acceptance of your order. In the event we discover a material error in the description or availability of a product or service that affects your outstanding order with us, or an error in pricing, we will notify you of the corrected version, and you may choose to accept the corrected version, or cancel the order. If you choose to cancel the order, and your credit card has already been charged for a purchase, we will issue a credit to your nominated account in the amount of the charge.
Rippa Stickers attempts to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on the web site. However because the colours you see will depend on many factors, including your monitor or printer, we cannot guarantee that the colour you see matches the product colours.
Placing an Order
We accept Australian and international orders. All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Rippa Stickers.
To minimise errors and improve efficiency, orders can be placed using our on-line ordering system. We also accept phone, fax, mail and email orders. We do not accept in person orders at our offices.
All orders are in Australian dollars. Should you pay by credit card, it will be charged in Australian dollars. Currency conversion as provided on our web site is a guide only. The exchange rate is not determined by us.
Any quantity in stock displayed on our web site should be considered as a guide only. Quantity in stock does not take into account existing orders placed which are yet to be processed. It is possible that an order placed earlier will receive the allocation of the part in which the quantity for it showed as in stock at the time of your order. Inventory discrepancy can also affect the accuracy of the stock status displayed on our web site.
Order Validation and Acceptance
When you place an order through Rippa Stickers, we will verify your method of payment before processing your order. Your placement of an order via our web site is an offer to purchase our products. We may accept your order by processing your payment, or may, for any reason, decline your order or any part of your order. Whether we accept or decline your order, we will attempt to notify you using the e-mail address you have provided with your order.
When you place an order through our web site, you are required to provide a valid e-mail address, which we may use to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, advise you regarding shipment of back ordered products, and to provide you with any other notices, disclosures or other communications relating to your order. You agree that Rippa Stickers will not be responsible for any damage or loss you incur, or information you do not receive, as a result of your failure to provide and keep valid an e-mail address at the time of placing the order and for the duration of the processing and fulfilling of the order.
When you place an order through our web site, you are required to provide alternative current phone and mailing address contact details. We may need these in case the email system is inoperable and we need to contact you regarding your order.
Cancelling an Order
Any attempt to cancel an order must be made as soon as possible. Cancellations attempted after despatching of stocked products will result in the customer having to pay the shipping and handling charges on the package and the cost of shipping the package back. We do not accept cancellations if the product has been taken out of its packaging. Please refer to our refund policy below for further details.
Cancellations attempted after the printing of non-stocked (custom made to order) products will result in the customer having to pay a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations attempted after despatching of non-stocked (custom made to order) products will result in the customer having to pay the shipping and handling charges on the package and the cost of shipping the package back, plus 50% cancellation fee. We do not accept cancellations if the product has been taken out of its packaging. Please refer to our refund policy below for further details.
Cancellations are to be communicated by telephone during business hours only. Our business hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm (Brisbane/Queensland Time, GMT+10) Monday to Friday excluding Queensland public holidays.
When the goods are returned and are in same condition as we despatched (excluding the packaging), we will then return the amount you paid for the returned goods less a 15% restocking fee and less the delivery/handling charges and less cancelation fee. If the goods (excluding the packaging) are not in the same condition as we despatched, we will not return the amount you paid for the returned goods.
For on-line (web) orders, accepted payments include Visa® and MasterCard®. There is no additional charge for Visa®/MasterCard® payments. We charge your credit card at the time of order.
For phone, fax, mail and email orders, accepted payments include credit cards (Visa® and MasterCard®), direct deposit, personal/bank cheque and money order. DO NOT SEND CASH.
Rippa Stickers does not offer a COD delivery service.
When doing a direct fund transfer or direct deposit into our account, you are required to include the Order ID as the deposit reference. It is also required for a deposit slip to be sent to us by fax or e-mail (scanned). For electronic funds transfer (EFT) please cut and paste the transfer details and send to us by e-mail (or print to PDF format and email the file).
All orders are to be paid in full upon order except where payment plans are offered by us.
The title of the goods supplied does not pass to the customer from Rippa Stickers until the full amount is paid and cleared to Rippa Stickers.
Shipping and Order Cancellations
There are currently no pick up facilities for orders from Rippa Stickers.
For orders that include installation, the product will delivered and installed by our installer, the product will not be shipped to you. For self-installation orders, we will ship to the address you entered on the order.
Shipping to Australian addresses will be via the postal service you select at the time of order. The number of days from dispatch to when you receive it is out of our control and dependent on the delivery provider. We do not dispatch outside of our business hours.
For stocked products, generally allow for up to 10 days from date of order before you receive your product.
For out-of-stock and custom made to order products, generally allow for an additional 7-10 days to the above.
In the rare event your order is delayed by us by more than 14 days, we will attempt to notify you by e-mail and you may elect to cancel the order. If you elect to cancel the order, we will issue a refund within seven (7) days of us receiving the order cancellation. Please refer to our cancellation policy above for further details.
If you order an installation/removal service, should we accept, we will attempt to notify you by e-mail to arrange for a mutually suitable date, time and place to perform the installation. Cancellation of services up to two (2) full business days prior to the scheduled service date, will not attract a cancellation fee. If cancelled within two (2) business days or less of the schedule service, then a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Please refer to our refund policy below for further details.
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Rippa Stickers will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delayed or lost shipment.
Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery if required by the delivery service. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customer if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customer if the delivery address is incorrect.
Shipping to International Destinations (outside of Australia)
For international orders, please allow for up to 28 days from date of order before you receive your product.
You are responsible for any duties, tariffs, customs charges or additional charges levied by your country of entry. Furthermore, Rippa Stickers is not responsible for any additional charges once the items you have ordered have left Australia. Should charges be levied in your country, and should you refuse to pay them, your credit card will be charged for all outgoing and return delivery charges that may be incurred by us when the returned goods are received by us, you will be refunded for the goods only, as per our refund policy.
If you have questions regarding customs or duties charges and procedures in your country, it is your responsibility to research this information PRIOR to placing your order.
Rippa Stickers collects and remits GST taxes as required by law on purchases made via this web site. For international orders, GST will not be charged.
Return and Refund
Please select carefully at the time when you place your order.
Returns for refund of stocked products will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods and the goods have not been installed (including any attempt to install). A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price you paid will be deducted. Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable also to change of mind, not confident to self-installation and product not suitable for its intended purpose.
Returns for refund of non-stocked (custom made to order) products will not be accepted unless incorrect product was shipped, is missing or is damaged in transit.
Any incorrect, missing or damaged goods received (excluding packaging) must be reported to Rippa Stickers within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. This is to be done by phone. We will arrange and pay for the goods to be returned to us.
If goods received are not what was ordered please do not open any sealed packaging. Any attempt to use the incorrect goods will be deemed to be acceptance of the goods by the customer. No refund or warranty can be offered if this case exists.
Rippa Stickers owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been despatched in error.
All goods that are sent back MUST be posted with postal insurance and tracking number for the amount covering at least the price of product you paid. We recommend using the opaque prepaid parcel post satchel bags. Any item that is not sent via without postal insurance and goes missing in the post will not be credited.
You are free to choose a refund or an exchange for another item. If we believe that an item has been damaged or used we have every right to return the item back to you with no refund or exchange.
Goods sold by Rippa Stickers, and used by the customers in Australia or New Zealand, come with a 3 month warranty against defects and workmanship. The warranty commences from the date of dispatch. The goods are to remain on the item you applied the product to. We will either send someone to inspect the goods, or ask you to take photos and send them to us. Rippa Stickers will assess the goods under warranty claim and deem whether they are faulty or not. If we deem the goods under warranty are faulty, the goods will be replaced, repaired or refunded.
If the installation was performed by Rippa Stickers, the workmanship of the installation service is warranted for three (3) months, commencing from the date of install. Rippa Stickers will assess the installation under warranty claim and deem whether the installation service was faulty or not. If we deem the installation service under warranty is faulty, the goods may be repaired, replaced or refunded by us.
Warranty only covers the goods and services sold by Rippa Stickers. Warranty does not cover any other item used in conjunction or supplied with the goods such as installation kits. If you performed the installation rather than opting for an Rippa Stickers installation, it is vital and very important for you to precisely follow the installation instructions and use the items in the installation kit. Should you not thoroughly clean the substrate surface with the recommended cleaning agent, it is likely the adhesive on the film will not adhere sufficiently, causing the film to lift, bubble or constrict within months. Should Rippa Stickers determine that the cause of the defect or fault be related to installation instructions not followed adequately, we shall not grant the warranty claim.
Customers must request a Warranty Claim form from Rippa Stickers. Completed claim forms should be emailed, posted or faxed to us within 14 days of requesting a claim form. We may ask you to send photographic evidence supporting your claim.
Should we grant the claim and decide to repair, we shall arrange a suitable date, time and place with you for us to come and repair. Repairs are only likely if the fault is minor and is detected shortly after installation. Otherwise it is likely we will replace or refund the goods.
All warranties are voided if the goods are found in any way to be mishandled, incorrectly installed (if not installed by us), modified (apart from trimming the edges to fit your windscreen), tampered, abused, physically damaged or not maintained or cleaned according to the maintenance and cleaning instructions.
Warranty is voided should the goods be taken off the substrate surface and re-applied, either to the same substrate surface or to any other surface.
Warranty is voided should the product be in weather conditions beyond the recommended parameters as set by the film and ink manufacturers.
Warranty is valid for the specific areas the goods were intended for. Should the goods be applied to an unauthorised area or to an unauthorised object, the warranty is voided.
Warranty is valid for the purchasing customer only. If the product or the object the product has been applied to, is sold to another party during the warranty period, the warranty will cease from the date of sale. The person making the claim must be the original purchaser of the goods.
Should the warranty claim be granted and Rippa Stickers decides to replace the goods, we shall replace with the same. We will not upgrade or downgrade unless mutually agreed. Customer agrees to pay the difference for upgrades and Rippa Stickers shall pay the customer the difference for downgrades.
Warranty Turnaround Time
Turnaround time for warranty claims largely depends on the quality of information and supporting evidence you provide us. We will try our best to efficiently assess the claim. Please understand the time involved for a warranty claim will include: our time to assess the goods which may include visiting your vehicle, reprinting a replacement product, drying, cutting and packaging, then possibly to arrange for a time for us to install it, if you originally had us install the product.
We do not provide advance replacement under any circumstances. Please keep this in mind when you place your order. Rippa Stickers is not responsible for any losses resulting from the time it takes to have the faulty item replaced, repaired or refunded.
Due to changing market forces and other extenuating circumstances that affect product availability and price stability, we reserve the right to withdraw any product we advertise and change prices without notice. However, at the time of order, we will honour the price as listed on our web site.
Information contained throughout the web pages and in our database is believed to be accurate and reliable at the time of publishing. There may be misprints, human errors, and omissions. We reserve the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products, and specifications without notice.
